BSL 4: As it ended !!!

Mallick’s 50 helps Ayyannars clinch the titleBSL-IV came to a close last weekend with the Ravee Kumar led Assault Ayyannars (AA) prevailing over Nishanth AJ led Ravana Sena (RS), thereby preventing Nishanth from becoming the first captain to lift two successive trophies. There were many opportunities for RS to win the match, but Assault Ayyannars were able to hold their nerve and prevent that from being the case. BSL4: Its time for the Semi-finals !!!

The first semi-final of BSL IV will see Bharath Sequeira led 'The Centaurs' (TC) take on Ravee Kumar’s Assault Ayyannars (AA). The winner of this match will enter the finals on Sunday not only as favorites but with the added advantage of being more keyed up and fresh since the second semi-final is scheduled before the finals. If their previous meeting in the group stage is any indication, this semi-final promises to be a humdinger with AA keen to avenge their narrow loss to TC earlier.Full match preview is below:

BSL 4: A weekend that will decide the Champions of BSL 4

The fourth edition of Bangalore Cricket Guild’s BSL tournament reaches a crescendo this weekend at Gopalan Sports Academy. 5 teams, namely, The Centaurs (TC); Ravana Sena (RS) and Assault Ayyannars (AA) from the Master’s Group and Thundering Typhoons (TT) and Villainous Vampires (VV) from the Do-or-Die group have survived to make it to the tournament’s last weekend. The two survivors from the Do-or-Die group – TT and VV will face off in an Eliminator match on Saturday with the winner playing against RS in the second semi-final on Sunday.
