Karnataka beat Saurashtra in Vijay Hazare Cricket tournament 2017

Karnataka continued their winning run at the ongoing Vijay Hazare Cricket tournament 2017. With this win Karnataka has increased their chances of finishing as Group leaders and qualify for the later stages of the tournament.

Batting first, Karnataka could only manage to put on board a total of 201 before the entire team was dismissed in 47.1 overs. But this mere total was enough for Karnataka to walk over as winners as Saurashtra was shot out for 128 runs in their innings. It was a field day for bowlers from both the sides as both sides lost all their wickets.

For Karnataka the stand out performer with the bat was Mayank Agarwal as he managed to score 89 runs before being dismissed. Although there were regular wickets falling at the other end Mayank managed to score some valuable runs without which Karnataka would have been in further trouble. Bengaluru Fc signs Marjan Jugovic !!!

In a bid to regain recent slump in form Bengaluru FC have signed Serbian striker Marjan Jugovic as per the official announcement from by the club.  With this signing BFC has filled in the slot of the fourth foreigner. The 4th foreigner slot was open when BFC had released Honduran Roby Norales earlier this month.
Jugovic comes with the experience of having played in the Europa League and the AFC Champions League. He has turned out for clubs in Iceand, Indonesia, Poland and Syria.  "We hope the arrival of Marjan will add impetus to our attacking department," said Bengaluru coach Albert Roca "He's tall, a proper target man and has very handy experience gathered across continents.
