The story behind Jude Felix Hockey Academy !!!

Jude Felix Hockey Academy or JFHA is a Hockey academy started by Mr Jude Felix, former Olympian and Indian Hockey captain. He was well supported by his former team mates and Karnataka Hockey Association. The main aim of this venture was to promote the game of Hockey among the under-privileged children in our country at large and develop new talents for the game. It has not been very difficult for Jude Felix to bring in quality coaches to this academy since many former Olympians, International coaches, International and National players had all supported him in this social cause.

Rahul Dravid and Dhanraj Pillay along with Jude Felix during the inauguration of the academy.

Dravid and Dhanraj Pillay also featured in a team of many popular Sportsmen which played an Exhibition match of hockey on the day of inauguration of the academy.

The mission of this academy has been to develop hockey at the grass roots level and nurture talent through an organization of excellence.

The four main objectives of this academy has been:
1. To promote Hockey in communities.

goal is to offer professional Hockey coaching to the children from this Orphanage. Subsequent to
the success of this pilot project, the aim of JFHA is to take the program to hundreds of other children

the program.
